What is Right to Acquire?

If you don’t have Right to Buy or Preserved Right to Buy, you may still be able to purchase your property at a smaller discount under another scheme called Right to Acquire.

The Right to Acquire allows housing association tenants to buy their home at a discount. It only applies if your property is owned by us and was built, or bought by us, on or after 1 April 1997. The Government must have given funding towards the cost of building or buying the property.

There may be costs incurred that you have to pay in order to buy your home.

Am I eligible for Right to Acquire?

You can find more eligibility information on the Government website.

If you are eligible you can complete the application form and send it to the Resales Team at A2Dominion, 113 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 5TL.
