Corporate social responsibility

As a not-for-profit housing association, our activities already add social value. In addition, we make investments through corporate donations, fundraising and community investment initiatives.

We are committed to supporting the communities where we operate and incorporate this into our core business activities wherever we can.


Each year, the Group donates up to £50,000 to charities linked to the services A2Dominion provides.

Around half of this fund is given as large charitable donations. The remainder of the fund is given to smaller charities or projects nominated by A2Dominion employees, in sums of up to £2,500. Organisations to benefit from this fund include free local mediation and legal advice services, projects to support Alzheimer’s sufferers, a street art project for young people, and a local crèche service.

Staff fundraising

A2Dominion nominates a charity to support and fundraise for each year. The Group’s Charity of the Year for 2014/15 is Cancer Research UK.

A2Dominion also hosts an annual ‘Charity Week,’ to fundraise for charities of employees’ choice. Over £6,300 was raised in just seven days in 2015.

Investing in communities

A2Dominion’s work is at the heart of the communities it serves. The Group strives to provide a wide range of services, to support its residents and local neighbourhoods. These include youth enterprise scheme Be Inspired, a volunteer service, training and regular community events.
