How do I get a certificate of compliance?
A certificate of compliance is a document that is required by the Land Registry to confirm that all the covenants of the lease have been complied with.
If you think you may require a Certificate of Compliance you must first check with the Land Registry to confirm if there's a restriction on the Title Register to be complied with.
If there's a restriction, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a Certificate of Compliance. Please include your name and address in the email and provide the relevant excerpt relating to the restriction. This is usually something that will be dealt with by your solicitor.
