Do you offer translations and accessible communication formats?

2 min read

We can provide our communications in a range of accessible formats, and we also offer a translations service for our customers.

What can you translate?

We can translate information and publications, such as our customer annual report, into different languages.

What formats can you provide?

Some of the formats we can provide include:

  • Large print

  • Braille

  • Audio

  • Easy read

If you need a format that we haven’t listed here, please let us know.

How can I request a translation or communication in an accessible format?

If you or someone you know would like to request a translation or accessible communications format, please get in touch with our Customer Contact Centre and let them know what you are looking for.

What if I need a translator?

It’s best to ask a family member or friend to translate, if possible, as this will generally be quicker and easier to organise. If that’s not possible then we can provide this service for you, either in a language other than English or sign language.

  • We provide the following options so that you can speak to us in your preferred language:

  • Using our Language Line service, we can access a translator so that you can speak freely in your own language.

  • We can arrange a two-way phone call between you and a translator.

  • We can arrange for a translator (or signer) to attend meetings.

Student - What am I responsible for repairing in my home?
You're responsible for repairing anything you or your visitors have damaged in your home. We're responsible for most repairs to the fixtures and fittings to your student accommodation. Unless you caused the damage on purpose or through negligence. In which case, we can repair it but we'll charge you for the work. Check your accommodation handbook for a list of the repairs we'll do.
