Darrell Mercer
Group Chief Executive
Darrell has over 30 years’ experience in the housing sector, having worked for Liverpool Housing Trust, the Housing Corporation, and the London Borough of Islington. He became CEO of Acton Housing Association in 1988 and of Dominion Housing Group in 2004. As a result of the merger between Dominion and A2 Housing Group, he was appointed CEO of the A2Dominion Group in 2008.
John Knevett
Group Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy Group Chief Executive
John has worked in the housing sector for more than 20 years, in addition to having extensive experience as a structural and civil engineer. He was previously Chief Executive of A2 Housing Group, leading the organisation for three years before the formation of the A2Dominion Group. John is a member of the Institute of Structural Engineers and the Institute of Maintenance and Building Management.
John Allan
Executive Director (Development, South East)
John is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and has extensive experience in the house-building industry. Prior to joining the A2Dominion Group, he was Managing Director of A Plus New Homes and had previously worked for Cala Homes and the Livingston Development Corporation, one of Scotland’s five new towns.
Kathryn Bull
Executive Director (Corporate Services)
Kathryn has significant senior management experience in the public sector. Prior to her current role, she was Group Director of Risk & Planning at Dominion Housing Group. She was also Assistant Director of Housing at the London Borough of Croydon and was at the London Borough of Wandsworth for six years.
Andrew Evans
Executive Director (Operations)
Andrew has over 25 years’ service delivery experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to his current role, Andrew was Group Operations Director for A2 Housing Group for 12 years and was Spelthorne Housing Association’s Deputy Chief Executive. Andrew is a member of the Institute of Management.
Alan Johnson
Executive Director (Development, London)
Alan has over 25 years’ experience in the development of both private and affordable accommodation. He has also held senior development roles with A2, London & Quadrant Housing Trust, Salvation Army Housing and Servite Homes.
Dominic Lynch
Executive Director (Finance & Strategy)
Dominic brings over 30 years of financial expertise in both the private and public sectors to the A2Dominion Group. He was previously Group Finance Director for A2 Housing Group, a position he held for 10 years. Before moving into the housing sector in 1998, Dominic held senior financial management roles with Hanson plc and Lamont plc. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ireland).
Dean Tufts
Executive Director (Treasury)
Dean is a qualified chartered accountant and has over 20 years’ experience in the housing sector. Prior to his current role, Dean was Dominion Housing Group’s Finance Director, a role he held for four years. He also previously worked for Acton Housing Association and sheltered housing company McCarthy & Stone plc. Dean is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Nick Yeeles
Executive Director (New Business)
Nicholas’ career encompasses over 20 years’ experience in the social housing sector, with an emphasis on business development. Prior to his current role at A2Dominion, Nicholas was Chief Executive of Cherwell Housing Trust, part of Dominion Housing Group. He has held various executive posts in management and development and has worked as a freelance consultant.
