About our older people accommodation and services

A2Dominion offers older tenants housing options as their needs change. We do this by offering the following types of accommodation:

  • Sheltered housing schemes (low level support) – self contained accommodation designed to meet the needs of older people. Support to tenants is provided through a community alarm service.
  • Sheltered housing schemes (low to medium support) - self contained accommodation offering support through the community alarm system and through personal contact from an estate manager.
  • Extra Care schemes (medium to high support) – self contained accommodation which supports tenants through 24hr personal contact from a team of trained staff. Extra Care schemes also have the back up of an alarm system and a provide range of communal facilities for residents e.g. hairdressing rooms, lounges and restaurants.
