Locals see plans for 84-home Camberwell scheme
Residential property group A2Dominion has shared its plans for a new 84-home development in Camberwell with local residents.
Residents from the local TRA (Tenant and Residents Association) met with the developer and the architects on 28 March to find out more about plans for the scheme on the corner of Wyndham Road and Camberwell Road.
Work was previously started at the site by another developer but A2Dominion has since taken ownership of the site and revised the plans for the scheme.
The Group’s proposal is to create 84 new homes for private sale, affordable rent and shared ownership, as well as commercial space.
Steve Waite, A2Dominion Group Technical Director, said:
“We were pleased to meet with local residents to share our plans to progress and complete work at this important site.
“We went through details of the design for the scheme and responded to queries from those who attended.”
A2Dominion has submitted its planning application amendment to Southwark Council and is currently awaiting a decision.
If approved, work is expected to start work on the development in autumn 2017, with an expected completion date of summer 2019.
