A2Dominion customers recognised for their outstanding contributions
Brian and Edith Clear, A2Dominion customers from Chichester, have been formally recognised by the city of Chichester for their contributions to the success and wellbeing of Chichester.
Based in Swanfield Park, Mr and Mrs Clear are Treasurer and Secretary of the Swanfield Park Resident Involvement Group (SPRING), and the award reflects their work in the community.
The couple joined SPRING when it was formed in 2012 and were shortly after asked to manage the community centre on behalf of A2Dominion.
“In a moment of madness, we said yes,” recalls Mr Clear. Since then, the couple haven’t looked back: “We’ve enjoyed it ever since,” added Mrs Clear.
In a ceremony on 2 February, Chichester City Council presented Mr and Mrs Clear with a Civic Award, which recognises significant contributions by individuals.
A2Dominion’s Head of Community Investment, Heather David, commented on the couple’s success: “SPRING, and both Brian and Edith, are an essential part of the community in Chichester – it’s great to see them being formally recognised for their efforts. The work they do, and the passion and dedication they have, is outstanding.”
