Overwhelming demand sees Advice Plus expand to Ealing Town Hall

Community News Q1 2016 2

Advice Plus, the free monthly advice and guidance service, will be moving to a new, larger home at Ealing Town Hall due to popular demand.

The service, which is free to all residents living in the borough of Ealing, provides a range of confidential, one-to-one advice on a variety of issues, including the recent benefits changes and other housing queries.

A2Dominion customer Tanya Bell, who recently attended an Advice Plus session in Ealing, is very pleased with the service: “I popped into the Ealing Advice Plus session just to see what was going on - I’m so glad I went! I was making overpayments on my rent, but it was only by going to the Ealing Advice Plus that I found out that I could claim them back,” Tanya said. “I’d definitely tell others to attend; it’s a fantastic free service.”

Those attending Advice Plus can get expert support and advice on:

  • managing their finances
  • finding employment and training opportunities
  • general housing queries
  • improving their health and lifestyle.

Ealing residents who wish to get advice and support do not need to book an appointment – they can just drop in any time between 1pm and 4pm on the first Thursday of every month.
