A2Dominion wins What House? Housing Association of the Year Silver
Judges have named A2Dominion as the winner of the ‘Housing Association of the Year Silver Award’ at this year’s national What House? Awards.
The Group was presented with the accolade in recognition of achievements across all aspects of its performance, from the design and build of new homes and help for first-time buyers to value for money, management and marketing.
Judges at the awards said: “A2Dominion is a consistently impressive performer and has this year diversified its activities to generate a record surplus of £44m.
“We were particularly impressed by the breadth of projects it is involved with, with schemes ranging from 18 homes in Winchester to 820 homes in Ealing.”
Now in their 34th year, the What House? Awards are considered one of the most prestigious events in the housebuilding industry.
Held on 20 November 2015 in London, the winners of 20 categories were announced by comedian David Walliams in front of an audience of 1,700 industry professionals.
The Housing Association of the Year category was open to all housing associations, large and small.
The Group’s success at the What House? Awards follows two award wins earlier this month.
At the Housebuilder Awards 2015, A2Dominion was crowned Best Medium Housebuilder and took the award for Best Low or Zero Carbon Initiative, for the UK’s first eco town, Elmsbrook at NW Bicester.
