Plans for 127-home development in Hounslow given green light
Plans to create 127 new homes on the site of a former commercial building in Hounslow have been given the go-ahead.
A2Dominion has been granted planning consent by the London Borough of Hounslow to redevelop the long-vacant site on Bell Road, close to the town’s high street.
The Group will deliver 127 one, two and three-bedroom homes for sale and rent including 13 properties for wheelchair users.
The scheme also includes 1,127sqm of flexible commercial space and over 250 bicycle parking bays.
Work is due to start on site in January 2017, with the development set for completion in Summer 2019.
Karen Green, A2Dominion’s Assistant Development Director (London), said: “The redevelopment of this vacant site in Hounslow supports our ongoing regeneration of the area.
“The scheme will include homes for sale and shared ownership, available through our FABRICA by A2Dominion brand, as well as homes for affordable rent.”
The Bell Road scheme, which was granted planning consent in September 2015, is one of four current A2Dominion developments in Hounslow, which will provide a total of 470 new homes.
This includes 155 homes at London Road in Hounslow, 101 homes at Hounslow Quarter on the town’s high street, 61 properties on the former Alfa Laval site on Ealing Road, and 26 homes on Pears Road.
