Sales success as 75% of homes sold since launch
A2Dominion has sold over 75% of properties launched this year through its new sales and marketing brand, FABRICA.
The Group launched FABRICA by A2Dominion in early 2015 in response to its growing emphasis on private development and shared ownership and to help it appeal to a broader customer base.
Rosie Nesbitt, Group Director of Sales and Marketing, said: “Our aspiration is for FABRICA to become an award-winning brand in the private developer market.
“We want to ensure that both the architecture and interior design of our homes provide optimum experiences for customers and that we maintain our unique position as a brand with commercial and sustainable merit.
“We believe that the new brand will take our sales and marketing activities forward into a new era and establish us as a premium mark in the property development world.”
A2Dominion has more than 4,400 homes in its development pipeline, with many of them to be marketed through the FABRICA brand.
More than 20 new schemes across London and the South East are currently being marketed by FABRICA, including:
City Wharf, Islington
City Wharf is tucked away on Wharf Road alongside the peaceful waters of the Wenlock Basin and has been voted one of the top 10 new London developments of the moment by WhatHouse? in March this year.
The scheme’s distinctive architectural design reflects the timber industries that once thrived in the area and has attracted strong interest from local buyers who want to stay in the area.
With over 50% of released apartments now sold since launching in March 2015, the scheme is also shortlisted in the category for Best Design (four storeys or more) at the Housebuilder Awards 2015.
The Chroma Buildings, Southwark
Occupying the site of former photographic warehouses, these boutique apartments are located near the Blackfriars Mile, an area of high quality public realm connecting the river with the Elephant and Castle.
Since launching in March 2015 over 50% of the private sale homes have now sold.
JIGSAW at Green Man Lane, West Ealing
Jigsaw, a revolutionary regeneration scheme designed by Conran and Partners – one of British design’s most pioneering architects, interiors and design studios – launched in early October 2015.
The joint venture scheme with Rydon, which is transforming the Green Man Lane neighbourhood, is set to benefit from Crossrail’s new station at West Ealing and is proving to be a success with 10 sales on the launch day alone.
A storming start to sales at Elmsbrook, NW Bicester
Elmsbrook, FABRICA’s exciting first true zero carbon residential development of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes in Bicester, Oxfordshire, has nearly sold out of its first phase.
Shared ownership homes at Elmsbrook, comprising 18 two and three-bedroom houses and one and two-bedroom bedroom apartments, will launch in November 2015 with phase two to follow in Spring 2016.
The masterplan for NW Bicester is set to transform this area with over 6,000 new homes planned.
Other developments coming soon
Future schemes include Keybridge in Vauxhall, the second joint venture with Mount Anvil to create the UKs tallest residential brick tower.
Purchased from BT in a £92.5m deal, the 36-storey building is being redeveloped to provide 441 new homes and 37,000sqft of new commercial retail space.
Work at the former BT tower, situated within the Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area in London, is expected to complete in 2018.
The Group is also working as part of a consortium of developers to create a major new community in Surrey, on land at Meath Green in north west Horley.
The project will provide 1,150 homes, a new primary school, public space and play facilities, when it completes in approximately 10 years’ time.
A2Dominion is working with Crest Nicholson to deliver over half of the homes at the new site.
