Reporting criminal activity, including hate-related incidents

We encourage customers to report information about criminal activity to the Police. You can report a crime anonymously by phoning Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at the Crimestoppers website.

You can also report crimes to the Police by phoning 101, the local non-emergency number. If you need an emergency response to the crime you are reporting, please phone 999, the emergency services number.

We also encourage victims of hate crime to report incidents to the Police, who have recently launched a new website allowing victims to report it online. The True Vision website is supported by all police forces in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and provides useful information for victims and the public about what hate crime is and why it is important to report it when it happens. It also provides links to organisations that can offer support and advice on hate crime-related issues. You can also report hate crime-related incidents to the police by phoning 101 (as above).
