Beethoven Centre - Queen's Park

A green hub for health and advice - A2Dominion’s Beethoven Centre has been at the heart of the community in Queen’s Park for over 10 years.

The centre welcomed over 45,000 visits last year, raising over £150,000 annually to ensure it delivers a wide-ranging programme of regular and free/affordable activities and events for the community.

As well as being a modern facility available for hire, the offices are host to some key organisations, working together to make a positive difference to the lives of local people.

About the Beethoven Centre

The Beethoven Centre in Westminster was originally a school, built in 1880s to provide manual skills training to residents of the Queen’s Park Estate. The site was acquired in 1998 when A2Dominion and Community Housing developed the site around the centre into 52 new homes. The use of the Beethoven Centre was developed in consultation with local residents, who argued strongly to keep the building for public use. Therefore, A2Dominion remodelled the centre as a multipurpose community space, incorporating a main hall, offices and meeting rooms and it still works closely with the community to ensure its activities respond to local needs and priorities.
