Can I get a copy of my lease?

As a homeowner, you'll have a Lease or Transfer document that sets out the details of your property. These documents are often also known as the 'deeds' to your home. You should keep this document in a safe place.

Lease and Transfer original documents do not change, so your copy may not list the current owners. The current ownership of your home is logged at the Land Registry.

If you’d like a copy of your lease, we recommend you order this from the Land Registry. They'll usually charge you around £7 to get a copy of your lease.

We can also send you a copy of your lease, but we charge a fee of £30 to cover the administration costs.

You can request a copy of your lease from the Land Registry by visiting their website. If you'd like to request a copy of your lease from A2Dominion, please contact us.
